We managed to organize our first get together of our Special Malay Class One SAHC Primary School 1956 at the Alor Setar Rest House at Pumpong, Alor Star in 1972. We were very fortunate because our SMI Class teacher, the late Mr. Omar Kasa graced our gathering. Our heartiest gratitude to Mr. Omar Kasa who has successfully introduced the world of English education to 41 kampung boys and managed to transform them into God fearing citizens of Malaysia. Only 24 of us managed to attend the gathering and it was a very hilarious affair because to some of us, it was our first encounter after the absence of 16 years.

On Wednesday 7 April 2010, Halim paid a surprise visit to my house at 10.30 pm bringing along our group photograph of the gathering. Halim has come across the photograph after salvaging through his collection of mementoes. Halim has assigned me to reproduce the photograph for the benefit of our class mates.

Both of us were thankful to the blessings of Allah for our existence in the year 2010 as compared to our eight classmates who were recalled by Allah. For the remainder of our classmates Halim and I has agreed to organize another get together in May 2010. We do really hope that most of our classmates would response positively to this get together, Insya Allah.

However with the blessings of Allah, Halim has informed me that another of our classmates, Ishak Hassan has passed away this morning (11.04.2010) at his son's house in Kuala Lumpur. I was very thankful to Allah for giving me the opportunity to visit the late Ishak at his grandfather's house on Wednesday 31.04.2010. I have mentioned about my visit to Halim and Din Dongga with the good news that Ishak has recovered because of the fact that Ishak was at his usual trait of condemning me. I pray to Allah's blessing that Ishak Hassan would be placed among the faithfuls.
Alfatihah.
