The reunion was not a properly planned event and yet at a very short notice, we managed to reunite 30 classmates or 26% of 1963 class of Form Five. In 1963, there were 3 form five classes comprised of 114 students i.e. 5A (Science class - 25 students), 5B (Arts class - 44 students) and 5C (Arts class - 45 students).
Sadly to say, I was informed that there were 14 deaths or 10% among us. The highest casualty are from Class 5C which is 20% or 9 out of 45. Here are the list our beloved friends who has passed away before us i.e. 1. Abdullahee Che Din (5A), 2. Chai Foo Cheong (5A), 3. Abdullah Salleh (5B), 4. Mohd. Nor Taib (5B), 5. Mohd. Yusoff Hamid @Little Boy (5B), 6. Azizan Taib (5C), 7. Goh Beng Lim (5C), 8. Ilias Abd. Razak (5C), 9. Marzuki Jaafar (5C), 10. Marzuki Shariff (5C), 11. Mohd. Jamil Hashim (5C), 12. Norlajis Omar (5C), 13. Omar Don (5C) and 14. Ahmad bin Hambali.
A few students mostly from Form 5A class has migrated overseas i.e. 1. Gooi Hock Chye - 5A(Leeds, United Kingdom), 2. Lim Seng Huat - 5A (Australia) 3. Mak Kok Liang - 5A (Australia), 4. Yin Hong Lean - 5A (Australia) and 5. K.Pulendran - 5B(Australia). In fact Chai Foo Cheong (5A) passed away in New York, USA
