Fresh young coconuts to quench your thirstMusalmah and her husband, Zamri has ventured into the fresh young coconut juice business about 12 years ago. Initially they started their business hawker style located at the road reserve in front of the Taman Pandan in Mergong. Because of their diligent and sincerity in doing business, their fresh young coconut juice business enjoyed a thriving business over the years.
Ironically their business growth was in tandem with the growth of my two boys. Both Musalmah and Zamri were very well informed about the educational and career development of my two boys as Pak Long Ismail used to inform them about it when he took delivery of our fresh coconut juice. Zam too has a closed rapport with them since she could order the coconut juice just through the phone.
I was and still are a die hard loyal customer of Musalmah fresh coconut juice. I really like their tasty fresh young coconut juice in their original form without any additive Mak Chik Sayang used to tease me during the fasting months when I used to order RM 300.00 worth of Musalmah fresh young coconut juice at 2000 market price as compared to the present price of RM 375.00
Today (23.05.2009), after witnessing Zam toiling herself labouriously tending to her garden for the whole morning, I decided to give Zam a treat of Musalmah fresh young coconut juice to quench her thirst. Coincidently, Musalmah was also very please to see me stopping at her stall since she was just slapped with a summons from the Municipality for obstructing traffic flows while doing business.
As a loyal die hard customer, I have no choice but to help Musalmah in solving her predicament. Otherwise it would be the end of our supply of genuine fresh young coconut juice in its original form. Insya Allah.
